Senior Vice President, Brand – Seattle, Edelman
Bringing more than 15 years of consumer marketing experience for top U.S. brands, Ian helps lead Edelman’s PNW Brand Practice and serves as the U.S. Travel and Tourism Lead, authoring travel industry IP for the firm. He also oversees Edelman’s global remit for Viking Cruises, as well as work for Wyoming Office of Tourism. Since joining Edelman Seattle in 2008, he has also led work across the travel and hospitality industry for clients such as Vulcan Arts & Entertainment, ofo Bike Sharing, Washington State Tourism, Tourism Calgary, Expedia, Greyhound, Hawaiian Airlines and Hilton Worldwide.
Prior to Edelman, Ian spent time in Los Angeles as an account supervisor for Cohn & Wolfe. There, he managed a variety of travel and hospitality accounts, including Hampton Hotels and its award-winning Save-A-Landmark program, Hilton HHonors, Air New Zealand and the Globus family of brands. During his three years at Cohn & Wolfe, Ian also contributed to the success of many other key clients, including Doubletree Hotels, Embassy Suites Hotels, Activision, Taco Bell, Samsung and LG Mobile Phones. While earning his B.A. at the University of Southern California, he worked for Ketchum Public Relations and Ketchum Entertainment Marketing, providing support for such clients as Mattel, Estee Lauder, Absolut and Levi’s.
